There are tufts over the eyes, bristles on the chin, and sensitive whiskers on the inner wrists and the back of the legs. Even the Sphynx breed, which is nearly hairless, may have full-length, short, or no whiskers at all, showing that this sensory system is a core biological trait rather than a byproduct of fur.
